You’ll finally be able to play Apex Legends on your own

One of the biggest questions I’ve seen time and time again regarding Apex Legends is “Can I play this by myself?”. Being that Apex Legends is a team-based shooter, you simply can’t do it. Or, you couldn’t but that’s changing for a limited time. As recently announced by Respawn Entertainment, solo games are coming to the title for a limited time.

From August 13th – 27th, players will be able to load up Apex Legends and get their lone wolf action on. That’s not all, as during that week a new event called “The Iron Crown Collection Event” will be taking place.  Not much is stated as to what else this new event will include. Yet, I’m sure most won’t care because their prayers have been answered. Even if it’s just for two weeks.

Next week, only one can reign. 👑

Apex Legends, despite slowing down over the past few months, is still one of the top played and streamed games on Twitch, Mixer, and YouTube. Thanks to the fast and frantic gameplay, interesting characters and it’s a fun title to play. With the solo game mode coming, I expect to see the title drawn in even more players. Even if it’s just for those two weeks.

I might even jump back in for the hell of it.

Apex Legends is a free to play squad-based shooter and is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
