During their panel at Anime Expo, WIT Studio, the studio behind shows such at Attack on Titan, Kabeneri of the Iron Fortress, and Vinland Saga, announced that they will be producing the Great Pretender anime which is set to debut next year in 2020. An exact time frame hasn’t been specified; however, it was announced that the anime will run for 2 cours for a total of 23 episodes.
