E3 2019: Halo Infinite Offers A Fresh Start For Halo

By Diego PerezJune 9, 2019
Halo Infinite

Microsoft’s E3 press conference ended with a bang. We finally got our first look at 343’s upcoming Halo Infinite.

Picking up where Halo 5: Guardians left off, we now see Master Chief in a new predicament alongside a brand new character. Check out the trailer below.

Infinite serves as a soft reboot of the franchise, making it a perfect jumping on point for those who have missed out on Chief’s more recent adventures. What we saw looks promising, and Phil Spencer confirmed that the game will launch in holiday 2020, coinciding with the release of the next Xbox console, codenamed “Scarlett.” No gameplay was shown, but we got a small peek at the premise of Infinite. Gameplay will most likely be shown at next year’s E3 presentation.

Halo Infinite launches holiday 2020 for Xbox One and PC. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass when it launches.

This story is developing.
