The Video Game Hall of Fame has added four brand-new titles, forever to be immortalized in the annals of time… or until the Andromeda Galaxy collides with our own and/or our sun becomes a Red Giant and burns this planet alive.
Either way, Earth is doomed billions of years from now but until then, the following four titles can enjoy semi-immortalization among the ranks of some of gaming’s best titles in history:
- Mortal Kombat
- Super Mario Kart
- Microsoft Solitaire
- Colossal Cave Adventure
There were the four that were picked out of a total of twelve nominees for the 2019 entries. Those that were nominated but did not make it are:
- Candy Crush
- Centipede
- Dance Dance Revolution
- Half-Life
- Myst
- NBA 2K
- Sid Meier’s Civilization
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
