Code Vein Isn’t Dead And There’s A Network Test Later In May

For the longest time, I was under the impression that Bandai Namco had just given up on their “Anime Souls” title, Code Vein. It simply disappeared after many voiced their feedback, mainly that the combat was boring and the gameplay was slow. Well, not only has Bandai Namco announced that the game isn’t dead but also an upcoming network test later this month.

While there’s no exact date for this network test, it has been announced for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sadly, the PC is left out once again. There aren’t any details available yet, however, Bamco has stated we’ll get more information on that soon.

If this network test sounds interesting to you, you can head over to this link to register for the test. It would seem that this is going to be similar to the network tests that were conducted for both Dark Souls III and Dark Souls Remastered.

There still isn’t a release date for the release of Code Vein. The title has already missed it’s previously announced release window, but according to this released information, the game is scheduled for a 2019 release. The title will see a release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).

Well, I for one am glad we finally got an update on the games’ status. I feared for the worst. Sure, I did mention the game had some rough edges but I did enjoy what I played at New York Comic Con and PAX East. Hopefully, this network test gives us something to look forward to for later this year.
