Mortal Kombat 11 Introduces All-New Character Kollector

Mortal Kombat 11_1280x720

Mortal Kombat 11 has done a great job taking us down memory lane by announcing returning characters such as Noob Saibot, Kotal Khan, Cassie Cage, Kano, and many others but what we’ve wanted to know is where is the fresh blood? Where are the new character debuts? Until this past week, we only knew of Geras and (possibly) Kronika as the only new first-time characters in the series. Of course, the reveal of Cetrion just a few short days ago got the world talking and got me wanting to go back and rewatch Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Now, we have another brand-new first-ever face joining the fray in the 6-armed Kollector!

Kollector, at a first glance, looks to have four arms like Goro, Kintaro, and Sheeva from MK’s past but if you pay close attention, not only are his arms positioned differently, he has two more smaller arms growing out of his back and holding his backpack in place. That makes you wonder if he’s related to their race or if he’s something else on his own.  Kollector, as his name implies, collects different weapons (or your body organs as seen in his fatality) and uses them brutalize you into a bloody pulp!

Kollector has a nice mixture of distance and sweep range attacks making him versatile at any distance. In his trailer, we saw a couple of his anti-airs and pop-ups.

Of course, don’t just take my word for it, check him out for yourself in the trailer below
