Dead Or Alive 6 Lobbies Are Coming This Week

By Keith MitchellApril 9, 2019
Dead or Alive 6 - helena

When Koei Tecmo released Dead or Alive 6 last month, they did so without one important feature. A feature so damned important, that you might as well not have released the game without it. That being, the online lobbies. Meaning you could only partake in random online fights and you couldn’t hold private matches or even group matches.

Then when KT announced the lobbies were coming, they ended up being delayed. As such I don’t even know the state of the game right now. But I’m sure fans of the series aren’t too thrilled about it all.

Thankfully that all changes this week, as the official Dead or Live Twitter account dropped some encouraging news today. Yep, the lobbies are coming, finally.

Lobby Match update(1.03b) has been confirmed for April 11th for all platforms. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is great news for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. However, I’m pretty sure sending the game to the PC without the lobbies may have killed any chances for the game to flourish on the platform. But you never know, and we could see a resurgence… hopefully.

Dead or Alive 6 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Why you’re here, why not check out our review of the game.
