Welcome to the first episode of our newest gaming podcast, Spectator Mode

By Keith MitchellFebruary 25, 2019
Spectator Mode Podcast - 750x422

How are you doing, faithful readers? We know it’s been a while since we’ve had other gaming-related podcasts, outside of our super popular Nintendo Entertainment podcast.

Ever since we’ve shut down both the Sony Centric and Xbox Xperience podcasts, we’ve gone dark. However, that doesn’t mean that we didn’t want to keep talking about the gaming industry in a podcast format. Far from it, actually. We talked about this almost every day, as we really missed talking amongst ourselves and about stuff we enjoyed talking about. So I’m happy to announce that we’re back with a brand new show called “Spectator Mode”.

As the name suggests, this show is going to be about all things gaming-related. From individuals looking who have their own thoughts about what’s going on, past, present, and future. Our future plans, include taking this to Twitch and YouTube and inviting guests to the show. We’ll talk more about that in the near future.

For now, the first episode is live and can listen to it below.

With recent ongoings with Activision Blizzard, we look at the status of the company. Both recent layoffs and what’s possibly in store. Then we switch gears and talk about everyone’s favorite rumor (that’s not a rumor?) of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass heading to the Switch and other platforms. Finally, we close it out with the talk of two Xbox consoles possibly being revealed at E3 2019.

Be sure to let us know what you think about the first episode of Spectator Mode. We’re serious about making this an enjoyable, yet informative show, so we’re going to lean on you all for feedback.

Thanks for listening and it’s good to be back.
