Iconic anime voice actor Vic Mignogna has come under accusations as of late by several people who have met him at conventions dating back to 2008. Anyone who has met Vic knows that he is a very hands-on person who loves to hug his fans and give them the occasional kiss on the cheek. Apparently, this doesn’t sit well with some fans as a few have accused Vic of going too far with it. Because of these allegations, Vic was pulled by Rooster Teeth from their animated series RWBY.
Today, FUNimation followed suit by removing him from the simuldub version of Monose Mononokean.
On January 21, Vic took to social media and issued a statement to his fan base which can be seen in the image below
Vic has lent his talents to the anime industry for 20+ years. His most famous role is that of Edward Elric from Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist series.
