Pre-Order The Division 2 On PC And Score A Free Game From Ubisoft

Pre-order The Division 2 get a free game

Ubisoft is currently running a promotion where if you pre-order the upcoming The Division 2 on PC. You’ll score a free game as a bonus. You’ll have up to March 14, 2019, to take advantage of this deal.

Pre-order The Division 2 get a free game

All you have to do is pre-order The Division 2 and activate the game in Uplay. Once that’s done, you’ll be sent an email with instructions on how to redeem the free game of your choosing.

  • Watch Dogs 2
  • Far Cry Primal
  • Ghost Recon 2

Once you’ve picked which game you want, it will become active as of Match 15, 2019. Why so late? Well, Ubisoft wants to make sure you don’t redeem your game and then somehow change your mind. Seems odd to me, as once the game is activated, Uplay would offer a refund. It’s also the only play where you can activate the game. Either way, it seems like a win to me, I just wish the offerings were either a bit better or games I didn’t already own.  Like maybe Far Cry 5, especially since Far Cry: New Dawn is coming out fairly soon.

Speaking of The Division 2, Ubisoft has announced that an open beta will be taking place from March 1st – 4th, 2019. I’ve already checked out the private beta and I enjoyed what I played, so I’m not sure if I’ll check out the open beta. Still, we don’t know what sort of stuff Ubisoft may add to the open beta. But you can bet if there’s new still being added, I may have to jump back into the action.

Yes, the game is for sale right now on the Epic Games Store, but if you want to forgo that you can also purchase the game directly on Uplay. Which makes sense since you have to activate it there anyway.

The Division 2 will be released on March 15, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you picking up a copy? If so, let us know what platform you’re going with. We might see you online.
