‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Renewed for Parts 3 and 4 by Netflix

By Sara Roncero-MenendezDecember 18, 2018

It might seem like the year is moving by fast, but it’s not moving as quickly as it is for the production team behind Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. First the announcement of a Christmas special, then the date set for Part 2, and now confirmation that our witchy cast and crew will be back for Parts 3 and 4.

Netflix has confirmed that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be coming back for two more sets of episodes. No word as to when exactly the next two parts would be going up on Netflix but we do have two new cast members confirmed. Jedidiah Goodacre will join the cast as the legendary figure Dorian Gray and Alexis Denisof as Mary Wardwell (aka Madam Satan)’s boyfriend, Adam Masters.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa released the following statement as part of the confirmation news:

“Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television, and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch. And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.”

And you can see several of the stars, including Kiernan Shipka, getting the news in the post below:

Now, if you think this is very fast given that Part Two isn’t anywhere near airing, then I would agree with you. Not sure if the executives at Netflix are looking purely at numbers, getting sneak peaks or maybe are just looking for something to help fill that upcoming Disney-shaped hole in their lineup. Whatever the case may be, Archie is pushing through in a big way. Don’t forget that there’s still an unnamed third project from Archie Comics due to be announced any day now, completing their rise from comics you bought at the grocery store to honest-to-God TV powerhouse.

A reporter by trade, Sara is a lover of horror, sci-fi, and all things pop culture. From indies to classics to even the strangest schlock, all movies and TV shows are fair game. She believes Batman is the most fascinating superhero, and that Silent Hill is one of the best horror franchises ever made (as long as you don't count the movies). Fun Fact: The only movie Sara will not rewatch is The Room -- once was more than enough.
