Fire Emblem Heroes Earned $17 Million In October

By Todd BlackNovember 12, 2018
Fire Emblem Heroes

While Nintendo is still working on cranking out consistent titles for their “mobile initiative”, they can rest easy knowing that at the very least, Fire Emblem Heroes is earning them a lot of money. The game based on the hit RPG franchise has been doing well ever since it launched in February of 2017. And in the month of October, it did just as well.

According to Sensor Tower, in October, Fire Emblem Heroes earned $17 million dollars. Considering there wasn’t any “major” events going on during that time, that’s rather impressive. Just as impressive is that just in 2018 alone, Heroes has earned Nintendo $200 million dollars. Quite impressive indeed.

Now, some have noted that the $17 million is actually down from last year at this time, but there’s a wrinkle here. For you see, in October, another new title from Nintendo on the mobile front, Draglia Lost, was launched. And though it had a “slow” start, it had quite the month itself in October, earning quite a bit of money. Thus, lowering what Heroes did.

As for what’s next for Heroes, that would be a couple new banners and a new Tempest Trials. But in December, Book Three of the main story launches.

In regards to Nintendo and the mobile initiative, that would be Mario Kart Tour, which is apparently still aiming to come out this “fiscal year”.
