The Next Batch of DLC Characters for Blazblue Cross Tag Battle

By William "Shadowz" KokAugust 5, 2018
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

Here we go…

During at the end of the Blazblue Cross Tag Battle tournament at EVO 2018,  Arcsystem Works showed off the next next batch of DLC characters. This confirms the earlier data mine that was reported during the beta period.

Nine characters were revealed for Blzblue, Under-Nigt, and Persona 4 Arena.

  • From BlazeBlue: Izayoi, Mai Natsume, and Nine The Phantom.
  • From Persona 4 Arena: Akihiko Sanada, Mitsuru Kirijo, and Labrys.
  • From Under Night: Merkava, Mika, and Yuzuriha.

It’s good to see these characters being confirmed and in action, especially the Persona characters. At the end of the trailer it teased of “a new fate is ready to intertwine.”  showing the new fate in the color of pink. Is this possibly be Senran Kagura that was hinted in the data mine with the announcer lines of Asuka and Yumi? Is it finally bringing the series that Arcsystems is known for, Guilty Gear? Is it a very pink series that is also deep in combat, Arcana Hearts? We shall update as it develops.

The new characters will be available on August 6th on PS4, Switch, and PC.
