Focus Home announces their Gamescom 2018 line-up

Gamescom 2018 is right around the corner (I say that way too much) and Focus Home Interactive is ready to get the show started. Today they announced several titles that will be on hand for attendees of the show to check out.

  • Call of Cthulhu (Cyanide Studio)
  • Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 (Tindalos Interactive)
  • The Surge 2 (Deck13)
  • Space Hulk: Tactics (Cyanide Studio)
  • Fear The Wolves (Vostok Games)
  • Farming Simulator 19 (Giants Software)
  • Insurgency: Sandstorm (New World Interactive

Each of these games will be available for press to get some hands-on, with the exception of The Surge 2. Sadly, while the game will be at the show, it will be limited to a 20-minute developer walkthrough. A bit of a bummer for sure.

Out all of these titles, I’m most excited for The Surge 2. It’s no secret that I loved the first title and its expansion called The Surge: A Walk in the Park. With a completely new location, a revamped combat system, more weapons and the ability to create your character this time around. I’m expecting the sequel to blow my mind, assuming I can get my hands on it. Oh yeah, our bo, Warren, will also reappear in some fashion. We just don’t know in what form just yet.

Oh, those other games aren’t too shabby either, it’s just… well, I love The Surge. That’s all. Gamescom 2018 takes place from August 21 – August 25th, in Cologne, Germany.

Hey Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13, I fully expect some footage of that developer walkthrough. Ok? Pretty please?
