Liz and the Blue Bird is by Kyoto Animation and is slated to open in the U.S. this November. The movie will be screened at Anime Expo on Friday, June 6 at 3 pm PDT / 6 pm EDT.

The Laughing Under the Clouds film will actually be a film trilogy by WIT Studio. The three movies in the trilogy are  Donten ni Warau Gaiden: Side Story (Laughing Under the Clouds: Side Story), Donten ni Warau Gaiden: Ketsubetsu, Yamainu no Chikai (Laughing Under the Clouds Parting, The Oath of Yamainu), and Donten ni Warau Gaiden Shukumei, Soutou no Fuuma (Laughing Under the Clouds Fate, The Double-Headed Fuuma). The first film (Side Story) is slated for release on August 24.

Lastly, they announced that Haikara-san: Here Comes Miss Modern Part II will be coming to U.S. theaters this winter. This will be the second and final part of the Haikara film series.
