E3 2018: Ubisoft Provides Details on Skull and Bones

By Josh PiedraJune 11, 2018
Skull and Bones

What would be a Ubisoft press conference without pirates? That was the theme behind their title Skull and Bones. Originally announced at last year’s E3, in Skull and Bones you form friendships and develop rivalries in the Indian Ocean with one goal in mind: to snag as much treasure as humanly possible. Battles will take place upon the high seas and a fortune teller will even predict conditions such as weather, opportune plundering scenarios and more to give a dynamic feel to the game world.

Skull & Bones is the first video game led by developer Ubisoft Singapore, which based its concept on the naval battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft Singapore are allowing players to aid in the fine-tuning of its live-service aspects with the community program, “Keepers of the Code”.

The game, as of now, is slated to release for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 sometime in 2019.

Here is the cinematic trailer for Skull and Bones:

In addition to the cinematic trailer, they also unveiled a gameplay video from “The Hunting Grounds” which you can check out below:
