XSEED Shows Off Their Next Line-up Of Titles Coming To The West

Love em or hate em (how can you hate them?), XSEED Games has been on a roll as of lately. With Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash already released, while Fate/EXTELLA LINK, SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal were previously announced. The company took some time out to let us know that they have more games in store for us.

They don’t show any signs of slowing down. Case in point is their selection of upcoming games for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

  • Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity (Summer 2018) PC – Steam
  • Gungrave VR (Fall 2018) PlayStation 4
  • Gal Metal (Fall 2018) Switch
  • Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient (Fall 2018) PC – Steam

Check out their announcement trailer for these games below.

Pretty cool, right? I’m definitely excited to see some footage of Gungrave VR, as I enjoyed the original title on the PlayStation 2. But also Gal Metal, a heavy metal rhythm game that was released in Japan for the Nintendo Switch. Yep, that’s heading to North America this Fall 2018. It will also see a retail and a digital release. Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity looks pretty cool as well and I’ve heard good things about it (it’s available on the PS4 in Japan). I also do love me some bullet hell shooters. Though, Corpse Party 2 looks (to me) to be the weakest title in the line-up. It just doesn’t do it for me.

Though, there’s still no announcement of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III for either the PS4 or PC. While the title is already available in Japan, we in the West have been wondering when it will make its debut here. The first two games (as well as The Legend of Heroes series) have done well over here. So we expected the 3rd to be a shoe-in. Maybe we’ll hear something once The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV releases, which is on September 27, 2018, for Japan.

Kudos to XSEED Games, they just keep on rocking.
