HIDIVE Anime Service Launches on Amazon’s Fire TV

HIDIVE made the announcement that they have launched their anime streaming app on Amazon’s Fire TV and Fire TV Stick devices. It should be noted that with the Fire TV Stick, the app will only be made available on second generation devices and higher. HIDIVE is already available on devices running iOS and Android as well as Apple TV.

HIDIVE was first launched back in June 2017 after the company acquired Anime Network Online. The service mainly streamed titles in association with Sentai Filmworks and Section23 Films. John Ledford, CEO of Sentai Filmworks, also serves as the President and Founder of the streaming service.

Some of the titles exclusive to HIDIVE include the Beyond the Boundary series, Corpse Party, Bang Dream, Elfen Lied, Hakuoki, Hayate the Combat Butler, IS: Infinite Stratos, Lone Wolf & Cub, Initial D, and many others. There are currently 167 exclusive titles on the service and even more non-exclusive titles as well.

The service runs $4.99 monthly or $47.88 yearly. New users are treated to a 7-day free trial of the service and can enjoy simulcasts as well as dubs of popular anime series.
