Level-5 To Bring More Main Titles To Nintendo Switch

By Todd BlackMarch 30, 2018
Level-5

With the Nintendo Switch still doing very well, including recently releasing Kirby Star Allies, more and more developers are throwing in with the Big N to try and do even better. With each new there are new confirmations, with the latest being Level-5.

Level-5 and Nintendo have a long history, including bringing the Professor Layton and Yokai Watch titles to the DS and 3DS. But now, they’ve stated that in the future, the main titles they release will come to the Switch:

“Basically, in the future our main titles will all be released on Nintendo Switch,” Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino said in an interview, published by Nikkei Trendy and translated by Gematsu. “The idea is that what we have created for 3DS will move over to Switch.”

Now, it’s difficult to predict what this will mean outside the obvious. Meaning, that the Professor Layton, Yokai Watch and maybe even Ni No Kuni could arrive on Switch in their next iteration. And, of course, if there is a new franchise they decide to create, that could come to the Switch too. We’ll just have to see how it goes.
