Fortnite Announces Crossplay, Coming To iOS Devices

Fornite is introducing crossplay. along with with the soon release of Fortnite Battle Royale on IOS devices. Having this on mobile devices might be one of the coolest things a game has done?

First, let’s discuss what could possibly be the best news ever. Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode is coming to Mobile Devices! Well more like IOS at least first. On the 9 to 5 Mac website say’s the Battle Royale mode will come to IOS devices first. following on android phone a few months later. If you by chance want to run Fortnite Battle Royale mode you need to currently own and 6S/ SE and newer versions of the iPhone.

If you’re interested in trying this out on your phone starting Monday you can sign up for a Fortnite event. Starting Monday, March 12, sign-up at www.Fortnite.com for the Invite Event on iOS. If you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store. 

That’s not all though Epic games also have announced that Fornite Battle Royale will have cross-platform functionality. PlayStation 4, Pc, and Mac will allow crossplay. This marks another big win for Fortnite. Currently there no information on when this is launching.

If by for any reason you haven’t jumped into Fornite Battle Royale mode yet here are a couple reason you should get into this mobile version when it releases. Or install it on your console. The Battle Royale mode has been the saving grace that Fornite needed. Increasing the number of its player by mere weeks of being announced. It currently shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. By sharing the same basic formula of PUBG but adding in a building aspect which adds an extra layer of defense. Not to mention even its cartoon-like feel and its free to play it is easy to why people love it. it will be interesting to see this game on mobile devices.

Hopefully, Fornite’s Battle Royale will work just as well on mobile devices as on consoles. Fornite is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and Windows (PC).
