Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Super Bowl 52 TV Spot Was Amazing

By Keith MitchellFebruary 5, 2018
Avengers Infinity War Super Bowl 52 TV spot

One of the biggest reasons people watch the NFL’s Super Bowl isn’t for the actual game. No, instead they watch for a chance to see their favorite performer, put on a show at half-time. Oh, and those million plus dollar commercials. While many of them flashed during our TV’s and monitor’s last night, none, Marvel’s TV spot was one of those few I enjoyed. Yep, we got another look at Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War and damn did it look good.

In fact, this new trailer shows off some new content that we haven’t seen before. What exactly, I’m not going to spoil for you. If you’re a Marvel comic’s fan or someone who’s been enjoying the MCU, you owe it to yourself to check out the trailer.  All that set aside, Avengers: Infinity War is easily Marvel’s most ambitious effort yet. Packed with characters from ever MCU movie ever made and then some. We’re talking the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther (I know, I still can’t believe it). They’re all here. Perhaps even a few we don’t know about.

Of course, so it’s the main bad guy, Thanos. He’s been teased over and over again, thoughout the years. Now, in a two-part event, we’re finally going to see if he’s just full of hot air or the year deal. And if you’ve ever seen Thanos in action, either in the comic books or animated shows. Well, then you know that Thanos isn’t known as the mad titan for a reason. He’s coming to chew bubble gum and kick some ass, and we all know Thanos hates bubble gum. Expect some heroes to die, others to mourn and for you to be on the edge of your seat.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.  With the follow-up being released in May 2019.  Now, if I could only buy my damned tickets already.
