Music maketh the games

It goes without saying that music is an integral part of any video game. Great music can immerse you and provide can set the mood. From action titles, to laid back and chill games. Gaming music is important, and coming up with amazing music is a process.

Of course, Bandai Namco is no stranger to this. Easily one of most notable companies that create video games with some of the more memorable soundtracks. Ridge Racer, Tekken and Soul Calibur come to mind. Now they’re giving us a taste of what to expect in their upcoming title, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

Ni No Kuni II’s music will be composed by Joe Hisaishi. He’ll be making his return as he also composed the soundtrack for the first Ni No Kuni title, which was brilliant. Judging from the video, the soundtrack for Ni No Kuni II is shaping up to be another amazing offering. Thanks to this video, we get some insight into what Joe Hisaishi, along with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, has done for creating this soundtrack.

It’s definitely worth a watch.
