I’m Excited For Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D Fifth Season

By Keith MitchellNovember 13, 2017
Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D

If I’m being honest here, I was not a fan of Marvel’s Inhuman TV series. Sure, it’s no secret that Marvel and Disney have been hellbent on replacing the word “Mutant” with “Inhuman”, though I’m not sure they’ve been successful in doing that. The show had some potential, but in the end, it wasn’t what I was looking forward to.

And that’s ok, different strokes for different folks. However, what’s coming up next definitely has me excited. Yes friends, the next season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is almost upon us.

When we last saw Agent Coulson and his crew, they had just finished getting rid of Ada. The Darkhold was taken to hell, thanks to Robbie Reyes (Ghost Rider) and all was well. Sitting down for some short-lived quality time, our favorite agents were ambushed at a dinner. Waiting to be hauled away for the crimes of S.H.I.E.L.D and to take accountability for them. Except things didn’t work out like they were expected.

Instead, the team was taken by someone other than the ones they were expecting. The next time we saw Agent Coulson, he was in space. That’s it, just a quick tease. When Marvel was questioned about what the next series was going to be about, they only stated that things were going to be exciting.

Now, there’s a 1-minute promo of what is in store for the fifth season. You can check it out below.

Wow is all I can say. The team is all accounted for and now they’ll be against a new threat. One that Marvel still isn’t talking about, so we’ll have to wait to see what’s going on. Outside of that, if you pay attention you can make out what appears to be Kree. Could we see more of the Kree in this season? I mean, the Kree’s blood is flowing through both Daisy/Quake and Coulson, so it’s not that far-fetched. I’m really hoping that we will.

Oh and Mac apparently loves Alien movies. Don’t ya, Mac?

Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D season five premiers on December 1st, 2017, on ABC. I can’t wait for it to start. Can you?
