‘Preacher’ Gets Renewed For Third Season

Tis the season for renewals, but for fans of the Vertigo series following the adventures of Jesse Custer, no news is more exciting that the renewal of Preacher for its third season. 

Creator Seth Rogen tweeted on October 26 that the show had indeed been approved for another season, which wasn’t much of a surprise given it’s popularity and high ratings. Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, and Joseph Gilgu will return as Custer, his girlfriend Tulip, and Irish vampire Cassidy, respectively. The new season will explore the continuing quest to find God which will take the trio to Heaven, Hell, and everywhere in-between.

Unfortunately, there’s not more information than that so until then, you’ll just have to turn to the comics for more dark supernatural sarcasm. 

Preacher Season 3 will debut on AMC in 2018.
