Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Will Be “Enormous” In Scope

By Todd BlackSeptember 18, 2017
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

During the recent Nintendo Direct, the Big N showed off a major video highlighting details of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as well as its release date of December 1st. This has caused the Nintendo nation to be overjoyed at the prospect of getting their hands on the title before the Christmas rush. But, Nintendo wasn’t done there, they made a major post on their Japanese blog (that was translated and posted online in various places) further detailing the games at the Direct.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Director Tetsuya Takahashi was a part of that post, and as a translator revealed, he noted just how big the game is going to be:

“I finished up a full check of the game the other day…we’re checking through the enormous amount of quests and in-game content now, but [Koh] Kojima(Producer) and everyone will be assisting, so I’m honestly not worried at all.

So, the trailer today only just introduced the basics. The characters and areas shown were only a small part of the whole, Xenoblade 2 has plenty more in store for players.”

That’s a strong endorsement, and given the size of the original game and Xenoblade Chronicles X, it’s very easy to believe him when he talks about “enormous” amounts of content.

The members of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast are certainly very excited for the games arrival, and noted that joy on a special episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast.
