Square Enix Is Remaking Secret Of Mana For PC/PS4/PS Vita

The return of a classic

Well, I definitely didn’t see this coming, but it is a welcomed surprise. Square Enix is remaking a classic Super Nintendo title, Secret of Mana, for the PS4, PS Vita, and Steam. This is especially exciting for me as I spent countless hours with Secret of Mana when I was a child. This will be a digital-only title and will be released on Feb. 15th, 2018.

Square Enix goes on to mention that the title will get a boost from updated visuals, but I am a tad disappointed with what was shown in the trailer. I’d rather see some high-res art versus the 3D look we’re seeing. The remake will also receive a new musical arrangement – I just hope they don’t change it too much. The original musical score was really good on the Super Nintendo.

Pre-order from the on the PlayStation Network and receive the special character costumes: “Moogle Suit” for Randi, Primm and Popoi, “Tiger Two-Piece” for Primm and “Tiger Suit” for Randi and Popoi, and several avatars. PC gamers aren’t being left out on the bonuses either. If you pre-order the title or purchase it during the first week on Steam, you’ll receive the three costumes and a downloadable wallpaper.

More JRPG’s on the PC and easily one of the best of all time is making its way over? Yes, I can’t wait for this!
