What’s up everyone, it’s your friendly neighbor rogue-like gamer here, how have you all been? Now, you all know that I’m am a huge fan of Deck 13’s The Surge. Outside of the Dark Souls games, it’s easily one of my favorite games of the year. However, I know that not everyone enjoys games like that. Some might even say their too hard. So asking them to part with their money without a chance to check it out is a hard sale.
But thankfully that’s all going to change as Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 have announced that The Surge is getting a demo.
Yes, but what took them so long? Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, next week, gamers will finally be able to find out what I enjoy this game so much. That said, there hasn’t been any mention on how long this demo will be. But I’m willing to bet that at least the first level will be available in its entirety. It’s a good starting place and even that part of the game will take a good 45 minutes for newcomers (or 25 minutes for veterans).
