SDCC 2017 – Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Shin Akuma Playthrough

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieJuly 22, 2017

On Friday, Capcom revealed that Shin Akuma was playable in Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers during their Street Fighter panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Once we got word of this, we here at The Outerhaven decided to take Shin Akuma for a ride through the Arcade Mode. It is to note that this character is a faster and harder hitting version of Akuma with a faster walk speed, a double Zanku Hadoken and a Shakunetsu Hadoken that can take upwards of 60% of your life on hit. The Shun Goku Satsu Super Combo is also ~2x faster than Evil Ryu and Akuma’s versions.

Check out our gameplay video below:

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
