Abigail revealed as Street Fighter V’s newest DLC

Just before the Street Fighter V Top 8 Finals at EVO 2017, Street Fighter series producer Yoshinori Ono took to the stage to introduce the newest Season 2 DLC character for the somewhat successful fighting game: Final Fight brute Abigail. You can view the announcement trailer below:

Abigail is the third DLC character for Season 2 with the other two being Karen & Ed. Abigail is known from the Final fight series of games as an 8 foot tall musclebound enforcer of the Mad Gear Gang. He is the 6th Final Fight character to appear in a Street Fighter game (Mike Haggar was never in a Street Fighter game, but a Marvel cross-over game so he doesn’t count) from the series.

Abigail looks to be a big time brawler with a few range closing attacks but mostly using his devastating size and hands to punch opponents. His size also makes him the largest Street Fighter character in the game series, even bigger than Hugo in Street Fighter III. Abigail will make his debut in Street Fighter V on July 25th alongside a special Metro City themed stage via either purchase in game for coins or money or by buying the expensive Season 2 DLC Pass.
