PlayStation Announces Days of Play Sale Beginning June 9th

Beginning Friday, June 9th, Sony will begin rolling out deals on hardware, accessories, and games. The Days of Play sale will last nine days, through June 17th.  The announcement of the sale kicks off the beginning of summer, and celebrates Sony’s success with the PlayStation 4, PSVR, and their new blockbuster IP Horizon: Zero Dawn.

The promotional sale will begin with the release of of the gold PS4 Slim, featuring a 1TB HDD. During the sale, you can pick up a PS4 Slim (including the gold model) for $249.99 USD/$329.99 CAD.

Other deals include:

  • Dualshock 4 wireless controller (in any color): $39.99 USD/$49.99 CAD
  • Gold Wireless Stereo Headset (in black): $79.99 USD/$79.99 CAD
  • Nioh, Horizon: Zero Dawn and MLB: The Show:  $39.99 USD/$49.99 CAD 

Major retailers in the US and Canada will participate in the Days of Play sale. Expect another blog post on June 9 for further details.

In addition, the PlayStation Store will feature digital sales on games and PlayStation Plus memberships. These price cuts are temporary – so be sure to take advantage of these deals by the 17th. More deals will be revealed in the coming week, so keep checking the PlayStation Store and the Blog so you don’t miss out!
