Sign Up For Windjammers Closed Beta On PS4

While Windjammers was announced that it would be heading to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, you can get your hands on the title sooner. How? By signing up for the closed beta that will take place from June 8th – June 12th, 2017. This closed beta is only for the PlayStation 4.

All you have to do is head on over to www.flyingpowerdisc.com, provide an email address, region and that’s it. You’ll be tossed into a pool of other hopeful beta testers and will be notified if you are selected.

Windjammers is a fast paced game that was originally released on the Neo Geo by Data East (remember them?). The game blends together the action of a sports game with the antics and mind games f a fighting title – sounds like my kind of game. It was eventually ported over to the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, where it enjoyed a renewed resurgence. Sadly, Data East ended up filing for bankruptcy and the rights for the game were sold off to Paon. This ultimately resulted with the title being pulled from the Wii. Now, DOTEMU is handling the port of the game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Currently, there is no release date for Windjammers on either the PlayStation 4 or PS Vita.
