In the Nintendo Direct beginning their highlights, they briefly mentioned more details in regards in to the online play of Mario Art 8 Deluxe. They opened up with the return of double items and focus of the battle arena. What they revamped is the new online mode in which you can now choose from the original quick race or the new battle mode. There is the old Balloon battle mode that all that we grew up with, or the new Renegade Round-Up. Another focus is now you are able to play with your friends in personalized rooms. You still need add them to your friend list before you can set the room. There is the fact that we still have no details in regards to the new Nintendo Online service. Do keep this in mind. Tournaments are back with the new battle mode, and in commemoration of the game’s release on April 28, Nintendo will be holding two tournaments. One for racing and the other battle mode.
