Second Trailer For Spider-Man Homecoming Released

By Keith MitchellMarch 28, 2017

This movie just keeps getting better

Sony and Marvel have released the second trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming. Right off the back, we’re getting a very familiar vibe from the youngster webhead. Wise-crack jokes, spotlights on supporting cast and even an interesting villain with Michael Keaton’s Vulture. Michael Keaton as a bad guy? Yes, please!

Sure we can’t forget the involvement of Tony Stark and him apparently carrying some package from the events of Marvel’s Civil War flick. Being all serious suddenly, you can see some character progression with him that’s for sure.

I really enjoyed the bit where Ned puts on Peter’s mask, it shows the connection between the two. Of course, this will be apparent to fans of Ultimate Spider-Man, where film strongly pulls from. Sight differences, such as Ganke Lee being replaced with Ned Leeds. Not sure why they did this, especially since Ned and Peter were never close. That and Ned posed as the HobGoblin in the past, which lead to his death.

Bad Ass!!!
Bad Ass!!!

I have to say that originally I had no interest in this movie. But after the involvement with Civil War and the progression of the characters and movie, my interest has changed. Sure I’m tired of all the reboots of the franchise, hopefully, this can re-capture the magic that we saw with 2002 film that featured Toby Maguire.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7th, 2017.
