Omega Labyrinth Z Announced for PS4 and PS Vita

By Karl SmartMarch 1, 2017

Omega Labyrinth, the rougelike RPG with randomly generated dungeons and a very interesting power gaining mechanic involving the bust sizes of the women in the game is getting a sequel. Announced today in Weekly Famitsu, the next title will be called Omega Labyrinth Z and will release on July 6, 2017 in Japan.

Confirmed characters include:

  • Aina Akemiya (voiced by Haruka Yamazaki) –  Returning Character
  • Rio Akanezaki (voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara) – New Protagonist
  • Nako Mito (voiced by Aya Uchida) –  Returning Character
  • Saeri Soja (voiced by MAO) –  Returning Character

Famitsu also has details on a new “Z Bust Mode.” Whereas in Omega Labyrinth, K-cup was the maximum bust size, in Omega Labyrinth Z, there is a Z-cup mode. If you reach a Z-cup size bust, you can use a powerful “Hyper Omega Slash” just once. After using it, your bust size is reduced. The “Omega Power” and “Faint in Agony Awakening” systems from the first game will also return.

Yes this game looks just as perverted as it sounds. But it’s selling point is the bust enhancement equals more power mechanics. It’s obviously been well selling in Japan and through game exporters like Play-Asia that the company behind the game Matrix Software and publisher D3 Publishing have given the game a second serving.

Famitsu reports that development is currently 70 percent complete.

Much like it’s previous release, there will not likely be a western release of this title. However we will continue to hold onto hope that this interesting RPG makes it out west.
