Nintendo Aiming To Have “A Big E3 This Year”

Nintendo is on fire with the Nintendo Switch. The console is selling out everywhere, and its hit launch title Breath of the Wild continues to get praise. Yet, gamers are already looking to the future. Not just to the upcoming month, which will bring Switch titles like Arms and Super Mario 8 Deluxe, but also to the ones that come after that.

You see, after April, it’s a little unclear as to when more big name titles are coming to the Switch, and as such, gamers look to E3 (the electronic entertainment expo) for news on what they expect, and when. To that end, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has stated in an interview with Fox news that the Nintendo is “going to have a big E3 this year”.

He further teases by stating that the Nintendo Switch and the 3DS will have games announced at the convention. This is big, as it proves that Nintendo truly is going to support the handheld platform in the upcoming months, and seemingly the rest of the year. Many of us where curious about how much support the 3DS would get, and we even talked about it on the latest Nintendo Entertainment Podcast.

Those looking for more info will be disappointed, because Reggie didn’t give more details. But, it’s still something to look forward to.
