Mass Effect: Andromeda to Be at PAX East 2017, Multiplayer Test Canceled

By Keith MitchellMarch 1, 2017

While Mass Effect: Andromeda releasing in several weeks, Bioware is heading to PAX East 2017 for some hands on. Everyone who is heading out to PAX East 2017 will have a chance to try out the multiplayer portion of the game. Attendees will be able to check it out on both the PC (room 2AB) and Xbox One in Microsoft’s booth ( #13019).

Bioware will be hosting the multiplayer hands-on for the entire event, from 10 AM-10 PM on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, the times will be from 1o AM until 6 PM, when PAX East 2017 closes down.

However, there some bad news to go along with this. That multiplayer test that Bioware was going to hold, has been canceled. If you’re not at PAX East, you won’t have a chance to try it now.

While we will have live multiplayer at PAX East, there will no longer be a multiplayer tech test for players at home. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We look forward to seeing you in Andromeda.

That bit really stinks, especially if you were itching to try out the game before it releases. No idea as to why Bioware decided to cancel the event, but we’ll be sure to ask them.

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, on March 21, 2017.
