Resident Evil: Vendetta CGI movie gets new trailer

The upcoming Resident Evil CGI movie, called Resident Evil: Vendetta, has been given a new trailer that details more about the movie.

Resident Evil: Vendetta (or Biohazard: Vendetta as it’s known in Japan) features series regulars “Pretty Boy” Leon Kennedy, “The Walking Mountain” Chris Redfield, and “Still looks like a High School kid” Rebecca Chambers on the trail of a new villain who has created a batch of new bioweapons that are released against our heroes. This includes a new version of the Tyrant with Bane-style enhancements, Cerberus Dogs, shit coming from The Evil Within, some big fucking freaky Deadpool on steroids thing, and thankfully standard Zombies. Which is weird since Resident Evil: Vendetta is based after the events of the somewhat ok-ish Resident Evil 6.

If anything, I wish we had more of these movies rather than the Milla Jovovich/Paul W.S. Anderson fan fiction live action Resident Evil movies. The previous entries Resident Evil: Degeneration & Resident Evil: Damnation were great films that actually added to the popular era of Resident Evil games as well as adding to the overall mythology of the game series.

Biohazard: Vendetta comes out in theaters in Japan on May 27, 2017. There is no news on an American or Worldwide release date since these movies usually don’t pop up till the Bluray release in the West. Which is weird since as this trailer shows, the movie already has an English dub done!
