Necropolis Gets a Collector’s Edition, Pre-Orders Are Live

By Keith MitchellJune 23, 2016

If you were already looking forward to the release of HarebrainedScheme’s dungeon crawler, Necropolis, then you’ll love this. Yes, folks, Necropolis is indeed receiving a collector’s edition and it is glorious. Pre-orders start today and you can get your copy for $50 by heading over to Iam8bit.com. We recently had a chance to try out Necropolis during PAX East 2016, which you can check out here.

The collector’s edition includes the following;

  • Digital copy of Necropolis forGame Code (STEAM, PS4, XBOX One)
  • Full Digital Soundtrack (
  • Customizable Death Certificate
  • 180-gram Vinyl (Yes, a blue record) with an album cover that folds out into a tabletop game. Music Composed by Jon Everis, Cover Art by Steve Courtney. The album features two sides and 17 tracks.

For those who are thinking about picking this up but want to play your game on release day, not to worry. All digital game codes will be sent a day before the release, depending on the platform you’re getting the CE for. Sadly, the Necropolis Collector’s Edition won’t be shipping until Q4 2016, but it will make a pretty cool present for yourself, right?

And I don’t know about you but album alone is enough to make me drop 50 bucks on the collector’s edition. Now I just need a record player.

Necropolis is set to be released onJuly 12, 2016, for PC. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are still set for an undisclosed Summer 2016 launch.
