More Mass Effect Andromeda This Fall

While BioWare had very few details to share about Mass Effect Andromeda, they did bring a small behind the scenes video and confirmation that we’ll be hearing more “later this fall”.

We did find out that the game will be running on the Frostbite Engine. It was also confirmed that the game will be taking place in a new galaxy in which “you are the alien”. The documentary (featured below) showed off some early gameplay where the player engaged not just standard enemy combatants, but imaginative creatures from strange environments. Where the original trilogy took place amidst a galactic society embroiled in political conflict, it looks like BioWare will be embracing the idea of the “final frontier” in Mass Effect Andromeda.

We’ll just have to wait until the fall before we found out more about this title. Until then, stay tuned to The Outerhaven.
