Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Shows off Character Packs

By Cody MaynardJune 7, 2016

The next highly-anticipated Lego game, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, continues the best Lego games franchise ever. I mean, Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Marvel’s Avengers were pretty awesome, but Lego Star Wars is undeniably what put the Lego games on the map. While Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is gearing up for its June 28th release, they’ve just shown off the Empire Strikes Back Character Pack for Deluxe Edition buyers.

Character Pack Vignette

According to this press release, the Deluxe Edition buyers will only get early access to the character pack, so apparently you can still get these characters another way. I’m really not cool with early access to content for special editions, like Han’s blaster in Star Wars Battlefront. What happened to the good ol’ days when special editions were just full of cool collectible statues and awesome art books?
