Confirmed: DARK SOULS 3 Will Run at 60FPS on PC!

By Keith MitchellMarch 10, 2016

There was a lot of frustration in the PC Master Race in regards to the upcoming masterpiece Dark Souls 3, myself included. While the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were confirmed to run at 30FPS, there was never an answer in regards to the PC version. Would it run at 30FPS, just like the consoles or would it run at 60FPS, just as Dark Souls 2 did prior. Well, Fromsoftware and Bandai Namco were pretty much hush hush about it all. That is until today, where they confirmed that Dark Souls 3 would indeed run at 60FPS on the PC.

That’s right, Dark Souls 3 on PC will indeed support 60FPS!  Praise the Sun Bros!

Forget what you've heard. #DarkSouls3 will run at 60 FPS on PC! https://t.co/h8O21GTxR8

Now hopefully the durability won’t be tied to the frame rate, like it was in Dark Souls 2. Right Fromsoftware, right? So how’s about letting us know if that’s a locked 60FPS or if it can go about 60FPS, say maybe even 144FPS support.

Dark Souls 3 releases on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 12, 2016. And I for one can’t wait to die over and over again. Now if only I can acquire an early review copy of the title….
