Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is finally upon us, and with it, Konami has released what it calls “an official debriefing” on the game. This debriefing takes the form of several interviews with Kojima and various industry workers and journalists who have been moved by his work and the impact his 28 year-old franchise has had on them. To be completely honest, there is little I can say to do this debriefing justice.
Seeing how Kojima has affected so many people in so many ways is simply heartwarming and I won’t spoil the ending for you, but I was very nearly brought to tears by it. All I can say is that if you’re a fan of Metal Gear, Hideo Kojima, or even just positive change through art; this video is more than worth your time.
