Gears of War 4 to have splitscreen gaming?

By Keith MitchellAugust 20, 2015

Split screen gaming in recent current generation games hasn’t been in the forefront, much to the disappointment of fans who want to play with another buddy, just not online. Many of us have played countless games via the splitscreen co-op ability for some couch gaming sessions, for years at that; Halo, Gears of War, Golden Eye and many more. However for most it seems that splitscreen co-op gaming is going the way of the dinosaur, there is still good news when it comes to that it seems.

During an undisclosed event, the folks from Grabitmagazine were able to grab some info from representative of Coalition (Formerly Black Tusk Studios), who claimed that Gears of War 4 will not drop the splitscreen co-op functionality from the upcoming title.  And while aren’t able to disclose much more info than that, it’s still nice to see or at least hope that the information is indeed solid and that Gears of War 4 will feature splitscreen co-op.

I don’t know about you but I sure the hell hope so.
