The Atlus USA website has confirmed that Persona 5 will be releasing in “late 2015”. The release date has since been amended to just “2015”.
This confirms previous speculation that arose from Sega Sammy’s 2015 Earnings Report.
This announcement comes with Atlus USA’s new website. The new website comes with a “News” tab, which currently only contains the following introductory message.
Hee-ho! Welcome to the brand new Atlus USA blog, the most magical, demon- and Persona-ified, post-apocalyptic, F.O.E.-filled place on earth!
