The Witcher 3 Is “200+ Hours” Long

Thanks to a question on Twitter we have gotten some news regarding the upcoming game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Senior Designer, Damien Monnier, took to Twitter to answer the question; “How long is the game (including sidequest)[?]”

Monnier’s answer is a strong one. Monnier replied; “mmm hard to say, if you do everything I’d say 200+ hours.”

“200+ hours.” That’s a long video game! And that fact only adds to the hype already surrounding the game! Before this, CD Projekt RED had said that they want the game to be an “open-world where there there were no boundaries. Where our artists could do whatever they wanted.” Achieving that goal would lead to a 200+ hour game. Further supporting this statement is a rumor going around that the PS4 version of The Witcher 3 needs a 50 GB install.

When you think about those two, 200+ hours of gameplay seems about right; and it seems so exciting as well!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 May 19, 2015.
