Gone Home Not Coming To Consoles

By Aaron SandersMarch 4, 2015

Today at GDC, Gone Home’s developer, Fullbright, has confirmed that the indie sensation will no longer be coming to consoles. Dualshockers has given us the news through an interview conducted with Fullbright’s developer Steve Gaynor.

Within the interview, Gaynor stated, “Gone Home for console is not actively in development any longer.” Dualshockers cites relations with parent company, Majesco, and partner, Midnight City, as the possible cause of the cancellation.

All hope is not exactly lost for a console port, just don’t bet your money on it. Assuming that Fullbright has now turned all focus on their next release, Tacoma, there is a bright silver lining with this news, however.
