Rise of the Aquaman

By Aaron SandersFebruary 21, 2015

Late yesterday Zack Snyder took to twitter to give us our first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the tweet Zack writes “There is only one true King. #unitetheseven.”

If the picture is anything to judge by, it looks like Momoa will complete the badass re-profiling of Aquaman DC has been working on since the character debuted in his own New 52 comic. Momoa is set to appear in a smaller role in Batman vs Superman with an Aquaman solo film being planned for 2018. Before that, he will also be a main character in the Justice League movie with part one planned for 2017. Looking at the picture below, you might want to save the fish jokes if you are ever around this guy.
