DC Comics & Vertigo’s Lucifer Coming to Fox

By Aaron SandersFebruary 24, 2015

Fox and Warner Brothers TV have reached an agreement resulting in Fox ordering a pilot for Lucifer. Deadline reports that Tom Kapinos, Jerry Bruckheimer, Len Wiseman, Jonathan Littman, and Kristie Anne Reed will produce the pilot with Len Wiseman directing.

According to Deadline, the series synopsis will be:

“Lucifer who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.”

Len Wiseman has previously directed the pilots for Hawaii Five-O and Sleepy Hallow. Additionally Tom Kapinos was the creator and executive producer for Califonication.

More details should arrive before the airing of the pilot; in the mean time, we will have to ponder at how the police angle will turnout with the character.
