Tales of Zestiria’s Opening is Kickass!

By Holland CulbreathJanuary 21, 2015

Tomorrow marks the Japanese release of my currently most anticipated RPG of 2015, Tales of Zestria. As if the fact that I’m a huge Tales fan wasn’t making it hard enough to resist importing it, I’ve come across the opening sequence of the game a day before release. And it’s everything you want in a badass opening.

Awesome, hype music? Check. The track’s called White Light by Superfly.

Breathtaking animation? Double Check. Courtesy of the legends over at Ufotable, the same group responsible for the animation in Tales of Xillia, God Eater 2, and my favorite anime of last season, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.

Awesome action clips complete with floozy transformation power ups? You got it!

But don’t take my word for it… see for yourself!

Tales of Zestiria is confirmed to be getting a localized North American release, but a date has not yet been announced.
