Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes hops onto Steam on December 18th

By Keith MitchellOctober 6, 2014

When Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes was announced for the PC I could feel an entire generation of PC gamers let out a collective sigh of relief, however there still wasn’t a date for when this would happen. Well now we know that Big Boss will be making the jump to the PC via Steam on December 18th, 2014. But this won’t be a simple port, nope.

Making the transition to the PC also arms Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes with an improved shadow resolution, more on-screen models, increased lighting sources and a 4K resolution to boot. And while I’ve played the PlayStation version of the title I’ll be double dipping on this as well. Hopefully the minimum/recommended specs for the game come out soon.

Still no word on when we’ll get Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain but to be fair we’re still waiting on  a release for the consoles as well.
